WHAT IS HYPNOSIS

Hypnosis is an extremely relaxing trance-like state of awareness that will undoubtedly feel familiar to you. If you have ever daydreamed or meditated, the you have experienced a state of mind that is quite similar to hypnosis. If you know that wonderful feeling between wake and sleep, you have a very good idea of what hypnosis feels like. Hypnosis is a wonderful experience and one that you will certainly enjoy.

There is no loss of control. This idea is a complete myth. The therapy process does not involve the patient being put into a deep sleep, and the patient cannot be made to do anything they would not ordinarily do.

You remain fully awake and aware of your surroundings and situation, and are not vulnerable to every or any given command of the therapist. The important thing is that the patient wants to change some behavioural habit or addiction and is highly motivated to do so. They have to WANT the treatment to work and must establish a good clinical rapport with the therapist in order for it to do so

.

Hypnotherapy is not just about solving problems and overcoming illness. Hypnotherapy is also very useful in the pursuit personal development. Communicating with the unconscious mind, i can help you become the person you want to be. By creating new programmes at an unconscious level, you can become more confident, more creative, more determined or more motivated.

Using hypnotherapy to work directly with the unconscious provides tremendous advantages and allows you to initiate profound and long-lasting positive changes.

HYPNOBIRTHING - Calmer natural childbirth

Hypnobirthing  can be used to help women birth their babies naturally, without medicated pain relief, and to help you stay calm and in control during your labour and birth

Once i have trained you , a mum will be able to place herself in a state of deep relaxation at the onset of labour, which will allow her body, and her baby, to carry out all the natural steps to child birth in a calm, relaxed and often painless manner.

My Hypnobirthing course is a series of sessions that support the mind/body connection and work toward eliminating the fear~tension~pain cycle before, during and after birth. and to have a positive birth experience..

INFERTILITY

Getting pregnant is not just about having sex at the ‘right’ time or going through the motions of IVF. The mind can have a very powerful influence on the whole process of conception.

Negative thoughts, emotions and behaviours can all lead to increased anxiety, stress, and sometimes depression, that get in the way of your goal of conceiving. The hardest thing to hear when you are trying to address fertility issues is, ‘you must remain positive, try not to think about it too much.’

As true as this advice may be, many people need support in reaching a relaxed and optimistic mind-set during what can be one of the most important and stressful times of your life.
